The Danger of Tongue Piercing.

Toxic Shock
A serious form of blood poisoning, commonly known as toxic shock syndrome, can enter the body through the piercing wound and spread throughout the body. Symptoms of TSS include high fever, muscle aches, vomiting and diarrhea, dizziness, a rapid pulse and a sunburn-like rash. TSS is potentially fatal, so if you notice any of these symptoms, it's important to be evaluated by a healthcare professional immediately.

Lung aspiration of the jewelry
The barbell placed in a pierced tongue can come off. If the post (the needle-like portion of the jewelry that goes through the tongue) is swallowed, it can obstruct the airway and aspirate into the lung, or perforating the bowel or the intestine, causing death.

Tongue swelling and bleeding
In response to the trauma of a piercing, a tongue will swell - sometimes to the size of a large pickle. This poses the risk of airway blockage, which can result in death. The major vessels of the lingual artery and vein are located in the tongue and, if pierced, will bleed profusely. If a piercing wound bleeds excessively (i.e., for more than an hour after the piercing), see your physician immediately.

This is scarier than i thought it would be. Seeing the videos and reading e danger is not a very good idea. Now i know. But, i still wanna get it done soo bad! Sighhh. Hope it doesn't infect my tongue ):

You're e best boyfriend any girl can ask for. Words can't explain how much i love you. Thank you soo much for saving me from e torture chamber. If it wasn't for you, i would have probably been killed by now. If only i knew you earlier, my life would have been perfect from the start. But, i'm happy now. And i can never be happier with anyone else. Love you soo much darling(:

You're the best-est best friend anyone can ask for. I've met so many people since e age ive realised wat friends are for. Some claimed that i was their best friend. And i can bet my life dat their definition of e term "best friend" is definitely not something which would last life-long. We've had our issues. We've used words dat shouldn be used on each other out of anger. But, i can promise you dat there was never a time, where i started to hate you even after all those fights we have had. I always had e hope dat we would be friends again. And i'm sure u hoped for e same thing. And, here we are. Best friends again and we'll rock e world like how we used to. You're irreplacable. I love you, babygirl<3>( and today was FUNNN! )

SATURDAY NIGHT WAS A BLAST!!!! 13.06.09
if deepa came, it would have definitely been better..

nantha,deepa,shawn,marcus,bhuvanes,shalani & i went to lau pa sat for dinner.
food was really good.
after dinner we headed down to raffles place to meet e rest before clubbing.
we drank JD(1 litre, bought from DFS) and a couple of beer.
we headed down to jeanz and had more alcohol.
it was funny how even after drinking soo much, i wasn drunk.
i was perfectly fine.
lol.

and today...
i left my house at 4pm to meet nantha at yishun.
we went J8 to just walk around.
but we ended up watching " Drag Me To Hell ".
it was reallyy scary.
e sound effects were soo loud dat i started to have a migrane.
but its definitely a good movie to catch at e theatre.

i was really happy to finally spend time with baby alone after soo long.
i had so much fun.
and i definitely want more of this.

i love him super duper much. <3

im not feeling well and this sucks!
i think im having SWINE FLU.
cos i have all e symptoms. but just not e fever yet.
my throat feels like crap.
urghhh.
oh well, i met nantha tdy at 2plus at amk.
shob msged askin to meet before she flew off.
which is tomorrow.
she came amk with babu.
it was just an hour thingy cos we went for lunch and den she went off.
king kong came and e three dudes were drinking carlsberg.
i left pretty early cos i felt reaaally sick.

i so can't wait for sat((:

i woke up early to go to tuition today but i had to run some errands for my mom so i decided not to go for tuition.
met shobana at yishun and found out quite a no. of things shalani told her.
nothing personally concerning me.
but about e issues which we were having with shobana some time back.
partially, shalani's to be blamed for not conveying messages properly.
because of her, we had a lil arguement after shalani came down.
shalani seriously got on mine, deepa's and suren's nerves.
i don even wanna talk about it noww.
its high time she changes to e better!

went for seeshaa yesterday with shalani, bhuvanes & viknes.

it was nice to see bhuvanes after such a long time and we had soo much to catch up.

we were at arab st for an hour or two and we headed down to jeanz.

LADIIIIIIIES NIIIIITE!

after soo long i stepped into jeanz on a wed night.

saw a few friends there.

it was as packed as how it would be on a saturday night.

we left jeanz at about 3 to head home when i saw deen,vasu etc. outside celebs.

stopped by to tok to them and got into a verbal fight with raakesh.

e whole problem was fucking irritating. I SWEAR!

* Jeanz *

saturday night was AWESOME.

clubbing after soo long with darling deepa was e best thing i could ask for.

had loads of fun with all of them.

& e unnecessary drama and ridiculous affection from that one person was definitely something deepa & i can laugh over for another month!

got up early e next day for nssl tournament at kebun bharu(however u spell dat)

baby and team came in third.

hahaha. it was a serious tough match.

and today, went for tuition and den headed to yishun to meet deepa, amanda & shalani.

pretty tired & im gonna turn in soon.
